Eerie Moonby ~blood-cocoa

Customization / Digital Dolls / Pixel Art / Adopted Base

Glam! is holding a base race (y'know, list of bases, you have to make a doll on each and every one of them, first to finish them all wins) and this is one of my entries. I stand no chance of placing in the quickness stakes because I'm just... slow. But it's fun to do some dolls that aren't pageanty and are on bases I probably wouldn't choose otherwise. Though I have been wanting to use this base for a while.

Anyway. Eerie Moon is a sweet little ghost who is searching for her lost heart. I imagine her being in a picture book (Is that my cow? It goes "hrrrrugh", it is a hippopotamus! That's not my cow!) traipsing around asking all manner of monsters and supernatural things if they've seen her heart. I suspect it turns out to be what's keeping her lantern glowing.
It also sounds like another project I should do but will never get done.

sounds like the Poe ghosts from LOZ Ocarina of Time, cause they hold lanterns and that's actually their spirit thats keeping it glowing.

This is gorgeous! It seems like it would be so difficult to create a doll using almost entirely white but, wow, you made it look perfect! I love the subtle glow of the lantern against her and the pale blue eyes are really lovely.

Also, what a great story idea! You should absolutely keep that one on a front burner- it'd be a hit!

I remember seeing this on Glam! and going "Wow, so cute and really well done!" And I wondered who the doller was. How in the world did I not notice it was you? o_O
