Ponder Stibbons, a wizard and faculty member of the Unseen University. In fact he's more than half of the college council too, as he is the only member of staff who actually does any work and now effectively runs the university without actually being its Arch-chancellor.

Yet more Glam! Discworld collab. I could probably just keep on making these forever.

Base by Wayuki.
Ponder is from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.

If someone wanted to read the discworld series, where would they start?

I would say that either "Guards! Guards!" or "Wyrd Sisters" are good starting points. They're not the first books in the series, but they're near the beginning, they start off the stories for those sets of characters and are a better representation of the rest of the series.
If you want to start at the actual beginning then that's "The Colour of Magic". Even Pratchett himself says it's not one of his better books though, so it's maybe one to go back and read later. This illustrates the reading order, and makes it look ridiculously daunting.
